Important Notes

Fee Adjustments: Fees may be adjusted based on the final services provided, including complexity, volume, applicable promotions, and payment method.

Initial Invoice: After submitting your tax organizer, an invoice for the applicable tax preparation fee will be added to your client portal. This serves as a retainer fee and must be paid before we begin preparing your tax return.

Final Invoice: Upon completion of your tax return, a final invoice will be issued. Payment is due upon receipt.

Refund Withholding: If you choose to have our fees withheld from your refund, payment is due upon IRS processing of your federal tax return.

Refund Issues: If your refund is withheld by the IRS for reasons other than preparer error, or offset due to debts, payment becomes immediately due upon notification from our office.

​By signing our service agreement and submitting your tax organizer and documents, you agree to pay the stated fees for services rendered upon invoice presentation. While we strive to maximize your deductions, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes due to the uniqueness of each tax situation. This does not exempt you from paying our fees.
Monthly Subscription Payment Policies
To maintain clarity and consistency in managing subscription payments, the following policies apply to all monthly subscription plans:

Payment Schedule

Advance Payments: Monthly subscription payments are billed and due in advance for services to be rendered for the upcoming tax season.

Billing Date: Subscriptions will be billed on the same calendar day each month based on the client’s selected date (1st or 15th).

Missed Payments

Obligation to Pay: Clients are responsible for ensuring timely payment of their monthly subscription. Full payment of the subscription is required for the tax season, even if one or more monthly payments are missed or skipped.

Service Continuity: Failure to make monthly payments does not relieve the client from the financial obligation for the full subscription amount. Services may be paused until the account is brought current.
Account Reinstatement

Outstanding Balances: Any missed payments must be paid in full to reactivate services.

Reinstatement Fee: A $50 reinstatement fee may be applied if services are paused due to non-payment.

Annual Commitment

Full Subscription Obligation: By enrolling in a monthly subscription, clients agree to the full annual fee associated with their selected package. Early cancellation does not void this obligation.

Payment Acceleration: Clients may pay off the remaining balance of their annual subscription at any time.

Refund Policy

No Refunds for Partial Use: Subscription fees are non-refundable, even if the client does not fully utilize the services included in their subscription package.

Communication of Payment Issues

Clients are encouraged to contact our office immediately if they anticipate payment difficulties. Flexible payment arrangements may be available on a case-by-case basis.
Tax Return Delivery and Filing

Electronic Copies: After your final invoice is paid, an electronic copy of your tax returns will be uploaded to your client portal.

Paper Copies: Available upon request:

Pickup from Office: Additional $15 fee

Certified Mail: Additional $25 fee

Note: We are not liable for lost or stolen mail.

Release of Documents: Prepared returns will not be released without payment—no exceptions.
Filing Policies

Preparation Only: Our fees cover the preparation of your returns. Filing is performed upon your request.

E-Filing:

E-Signature Required: You must complete the e-signature process before we can e-file your return.

Rejections: If your return is rejected, we will notify you within one business day with instructions to resolve the issue. It's your responsibility to provide necessary information or take corrective action.

Acceptance Notification: Once your return is accepted, we will inform you within one business day and provide guidance on checking your refund status or paying any balance due.

Mailing Returns: If your return must be mailed, you are solely responsible for sending it.

Obligations: Failure to sign, resolve rejections, or mail your return does not relieve you from paying our fees.
Payment Terms and Late Fees

Payment Due Dates:

Within 5 Days: Invoices not paid within five days of the invoice date will incur a $50 late fee.

Within 10 Days: An additional $50 late fee will apply to invoices not paid within ten days.

Collections: If an invoice remains unpaid after 15 days:

We may pursue legal action or refer your account to a collection agency.

An additional fee of up to $500 may be added to cover collection costs.
